Join us for an invigorating Nordic walking/hiking adventure on peaceful nature trails, a refreshing aquafitness class in a gorgeous pool, a revitalizing outdoor yoga session, and more. Savour a delicious catered lunch, and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.
This rejuvenating retreat takes place on a stunning 30-acre country estate, nestled next to the Bruce Trail and Mono Cliffs Provincial Park—just 90 minutes north of Toronto. Come solo or bring a friend, adult child, or partner.

What's Included
Nordic walk/hike on the Bruce Trail & Mono Cliffs Provincial Park (choose one or both)
yoga or Pilates class (both beginner/intermediate level; choose one)
aquafitness class (beginner/intermediate level)

access to large swimming pool
access to indoor & outdoor hot showers
sunny & shady areas for relaxing, eating & socializing
direct access to all hikes & activities once you arrive (no driving required!)
What's Not Included
transportation to & from the venue (Need a ride? Let me know, & I will try to assist you.)

Nordic walking or hiking poles (or borrow from me)
hat, sunglasses, light backpack/waistpack, water bottle
yoga mat
bathing suit, pool towel, shower towel
toiletries (sunscreen, shampoo, etc.)
What to Wear
clothes/shoes suitable for Nordic walking/hiking & comfortable enough for yoga
More Details
This retreat isn’t for superstar athletes, but it is a full day of activity! A good basic fitness level will help you enjoy the experience.
If you’re a friendly, easygoing, & outdoorsy person, this is the perfect event for you.
The day will be active yet relaxing, keeping us busy without ever feeling rushed.
Start & finish times are planned to help you avoid peak rush hour.
There’s lots of parking, but carpooling is encouraged. Need a ride? Let me know, & I’ll connect you with another participant.

I’m Barb Gormley, a Toronto-based group exercise instructor, a Nordic walking master trainer, and yoga teacher. I’ve designed and led multiple retreats for volunteer organizations, corporations, and my own company. I’m a lover of the outdoors, and am grateful every day that my work allows me to help people live healthier, fitter, and happier lives..
Katarina Simons (guest teacher)
I’m Katarina, a fitness trainer, Nordic walking instructor and Body Harmonics Pilates instructor in west-end Toronto. I help clients improve their strength, mobility, and confidence through effective, science-based movement. Whether you're new to Pilates or a seasoned pro, I strive to make every session challenging, fun, and rewarding.
